This application lets you track how many times something happens over a period of time. It provides graphing of the events, and can even email the data with graphs.

- Medical issues

- Car troubles

- Server down

- How often you exercise

The possibilities are endless...

Categorize your Events your way, You could track how may times in a year/month/week/day that various events occur. So you can use the category to group, for example, server names together.

When looking at a Category, you will see all the events associated with it. An event "Meter", which can be reset periodically can help to quickly identify which event is the leader.

Create Events, such as "I took my medicine", "Server A Crashed", "I went to the gym", or anything you want to track. My wife would always say, "That Just Happened", when something noteworthy occurred, so the name of the app became so. I could never remember how often it occurred, now I can...

Analysis: What I have been looking for is an App that records the frequency of an event, and can graph it over time. This App does just that! Track how many times you were interrupted in a day, so the boss knows why you haven't been getting your work done. You could clearly show them how many times in a week, visually with the event graph.

Share: Your event tracking is private by design, but you can email your event data to anyone, including all the graphs. This provides a clear explanation to how often

"That Just Happened", to you.

3/5 stars

Good overall but bit of a hiccup

I love this program. I can see so many uses for it personally and professionally. I had 5 categories set up within 5 minutes. Easy to use and straightforward.

It would have gotten 4 stars except that it is not displaying the details of my very first entry. The count shows up in the events list but it is not graphed and there are no details. Subsequent entries in different categories/events with and without notes are displaying fine. (iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1)

To get the 5th star: Put a "tap here" message on the splash screen or make it go away after a few seconds. Allow note entry without having to go out, then back in (i.e. go to notes screen after saving time/date). Allow editing of event time/date after it has been saved. Allow custom arrangement of categories and events. Allow export/email of data in CSV format for custom data manipulation.

Still a very cool app!

UPDATE 10/3/2010: I have been using this app for about a week now. The phantom entry issue has not occurred again. I also found out that in addition to not being able to edit the time/date of an event, you can't delete individual events either. The Reset Event Meter option does not appear to work. Looks like the app needs some tweaking for iOS 4. I would have submitted this directly to the developer but there are no links available for direct commentary. Again, still very useful and very cool app.

T.J.H. Review

I cannot get app to get beyond allowing an Event a title. Hitting <Done> after typing is non-responsive and the support page is not for support if you have a problem getting from one step to the next. I'm on a MacBook Pro with an iTouch 3.1.2. Good idea, fancy graphics, but does not work for me.

3/5 stars

A BUG: The weekly graphs start on Sun, but the data shown starts on Mon.

LIMITATION: I would expect an app like this to allow atleast a CSV export option for further analysis.

1. There is no swipe gesture allowed in browsing through the charts. That would be so convenient, compared to the graph date selection option.
2. Notes are not shown in the "Current for ___" list view. We need to move in and out of menu to simply view them.
3. The start up TJH screen is annoying.

A decent app otherwise, which works well and just enough for my needs!
